Delivery Guide

DELIVERY CHARGES

Mainland deliveries are collected from John Bownes Ltd Monday to Friday and will be sent on a next day delivery service. If your order is placed before 12pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) we will dispatch your parcel the same day, If you order after 12pm or over the weekend your order will be dispatched on the next working day. Cost of shipping is £5.95 on couriered orders under 15kg in weight and 1m in length.

Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly will be charged at £13, and sent on the fastest courier service possible, however this may take a few days to reach you.

Collect From Store

If you live close by, you can also collect directly from our store for free. You will be informed when your items are ready for collection. Your order will be held in-store for 7 calendar days only; if you fail to collect, we will cancel your order and provide a refund. When collecting your item in-store, please bring a printout/copy or screen shot of your order confirmation and proof of ID (driving license, passport, ID card, utility bill, or payment card).

Pre-Orders

Items purchased on Pre-Orders will be dispatched once the goods are available. If you have other items on your order that are not pre-order, these will be dispatched once your pre-order goods are available. If you would like to receive these items beforehand, please contact our team who can arrange this for you. Estimated dates for dispatch of Pre-Order items are subject to change.

If We Anticipate a Delay

In the rare instance that there is an unexpected delay with your order, we will notify you and provide you with an alternative delivery date at your convenience. If you are not happy with the revised date, your order will be cancelled, and we will refund your order in full. In no event shall we be liable for any damages or penalty for any delay in delivery.

Parcel Tracking

You will receive a notification of dispatch with your consignment number. If the service on which we’ve sent your parcel is tracked, you can use this consignment number to track your parcel on the courier’s website.

Delivery Address

It is your responsibility to ensure that the address you provide for the delivery is correct. If the delivery needs to be redirected because the address is incorrect, you may have to pay another delivery charge.
